After a gradual ascent through Sallochy Forest, there are splendid views of Loch Lomond and beyond. The descent is on a steeper path which joins part of The West Highland Way for the return to the car park.
Terrain:
Forest roads and tracks.
Distance: 10 km,
duration 3 hrs, total ascent 290m to max. ht. 240m.

It is emphasised that ‘A’ grade walks are strenuous and should
only be attempted by those with high standards of fitness and stamina and
who are also properly equipped and clothed for the conditions.
Leaders will quite properly turn away those who do not meet these standards
as they could create difficulties or danger for other members of the group. |

Beinn Dubhcraig
From Dalrigh follow track to Cononish Farm crossing the river by the footbridge and directly up the north ridge of Dubhcraig to the summit. Return by the path down through the ancient woodland close to the Allt Coire Dubhcraig and across the footbridge to meet the track to the car park.
Terrain:
Good 4km track as far as footbridge but only faint path on north ridge and descent into Coire Dubhcraig. Mainly grassy with a few rock outcrops near the summit.
Distance: 14 km, duration 7 hrs, total ascent 850m to max ht. 978m.

Dalrigh Carpark off A82 near Tyndrum.

Lairig Arnan
An attractive walk along this high glen with dramatic views enroute. After 1km on road we access a good track which mounts steadily to 350 meters onto the southern slopes of Troisgeach hill at water control unit.

Beinn Ruisg via Mulea Plantation
Gentle climb up woodland track followed by steeper ascent of open hillside to broad peat hagged ridge. Return by outward route for fine views of Loch Lomond’s islands.

Established woodland track, grassy hillside and peat hagged hilltop with many boggy areas.

duration 5 hrs, total ascent 611m to max. ht. 595m.

Lay by on West side of A82, 1km north of A817 junction to Garelochhead.

Glen Fyne
Linear walk in Glen Fyne alongside the River Fyne. We’ll go as far as Inverchorachan, or further if you wish. Good views of surrounding hills and back down the Glen to Loch Fyne.

Quiet surfaced road and then tracks.
