Route ascends from the south end of Loch Lubnaig, through trees on to open hillside. This leads to ridge and on to summit. Route descends to join path in Stank Glen, returning to car park.

Terrain: Well trodden paths and track.

Leisurely walk through lovely countryside with stops to view the natural heritage and industrial past of the area.

Terrain: Tracks through grassland, woodland and forest. May be muddy in places depending on weather.

Start point: Off road parking area close to Auchindrain museum.

Start on good path, then onto hillside to summit. The descent is steep.

Terrain: Track, hillside and mountain with steep descent to A83, thence by old military road to car park.
